Overview
Yoga serves as a powerful, holistic therapy for managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS/PCOD) by directly addressing its root cause: hormonal and metabolic imbalance. Women with PCOD often experience elevated levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) and insulin resistance, which trigger the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) and disrupt ovulation.
By integrating specific asanas , pranayama , and deep relaxation, yoga stimulates the endocrine system, calms the sympathetic nervous system, and improves blood circulation to the pelvic region. This multi-targeted approach reduces stress, enhances insulin sensitivity, and aids in weight management—ultimately working to regulate menstrual cycles, reduce ovarian cysts, and restore natural hormonal harmony.
Students can choose any three days slot from Monday to Friday based on their convenience to keep their yoga practice regular. As part of our programme, all applicants are introduced to the fundamentals of yoga and trained on how to practise yoga safely and productively.
